About 6 Years Since the 2017 Beta Service Launch
"Overseas Reopening and Synergy from Merger with Interpark"
Interpark announced on the 14th that the cumulative number of subscribers to 'Triple,' the hyper-personalized travel platform operated by the company, has surpassed 8 million.
The cumulative number of Triple subscribers exceeded 1 million in April 2018, just one year after its beta service launch in May 2017, and reached the 5 million mark in September 2019. Since then, with the advent of the endemic era, the number climbed to 8 million last month.
Interpark analyzed that "the demand from overseas reopening (resumption of economic activities) and the synergy from the merger with Interpark last August caused the cumulative number of subscribers to rise sharply." As of the end of last month, the cumulative number of application downloads was 12.26 million, the number of itineraries created directly by travelers was 6.37 million, the number of cities worldwide where the service is available was 225, the number of registered restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions was 3.05 million, and the number of reviews was 1.18 million.
Kim Yeon-jeong, Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Interpark, said, "As overseas reopening progresses, the number of Triple subscribers is growing rapidly as a result of quickly providing customers with the best travel products and services," adding, "We will continue to focus our capabilities on maximizing customer satisfaction and advancing artificial intelligence (AI) technology."
