About 20 people, including wildfire prevention and firefighting specialists and forestry officials, participated in this campaign and distributed promotional materials to residents and hikers, such as "No possession of flammable materials," "No burning of field ridges," "No burning of agricultural residues," and "No burning of garbage."

The county is operating a wildfire countermeasure headquarters until May 15 and has selected 52 specialized wildfire prevention and firefighting personnel to establish a rapid response system in case of wildfire incidents to minimize forest damage.

With the government issuing a national crisis alert level "Warning" for wildfire disasters on the 6th, the county is carrying out wildfire prevention activities more actively than ever.

Governor Kang Jong-man said, "Due to the recent dry weather and strong winds, large and small wildfires have occurred one after another nationwide, making us realize the importance of wildfire prevention activities," and added, "We will continue to promote wildfire prevention campaigns to ensure the safety of our residents."
