Everything is a work that weaves the story of a Chinese immigrant woman running a laundromat who saves the world within a multiverse worldview. It questions the meaning of meaningless human existence through infinite worlds. Director Scheinert said, "I dedicate this award to all mothers around the world. Especially, I thank my mother who helped nurture my creativity." Director Kwan stated, "Thanks to the creativity and genius of the actors, a new film could be made," adding, "Everyone has greatness. I hope you all unleash it."
