The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency offers free 'Online Education for Employees of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)' to SME employees in the province who find it difficult to participate in in-person training sessions.
Now in its sixth year, the online education program is conducted annually to complement the limitations of in-person training and to support the continuous human resource development of SME employees.
Especially this year, the program has expanded from 25 courses in 5 fields to 28 courses in 7 fields, reflecting the educational needs and preferences of companies.
The main education fields include ▲ Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), which are non-financial factors of companies ▲ Leadership ▲ IT (Python, Big Data, etc.) ▲ Business Skills ▲ Marketing ▲ Office Automation (Excel, PowerPoint) ▲ and courses reflecting the latest trends such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Applications are open to SME employees as well as solo entrepreneurs.
No Tae-jong, Director of the Specialized Enterprise Support Division of the province, emphasized, "Gyeonggi-do and the Economic Science Promotion Agency continuously develop and support educational content reflecting the educational needs of SME employees in the province. We will actively fulfill our role as a partner in human resource development for SMEs going forward."
