Mutual Donation of Hometown Love, Practicing Hometown Love
Shinan-gun Haewi-myeon and Mokpo-si Manho-dong signed a sisterhood agreement.
On the 13th, according to Shinan-gun, 40 people attended to seek ways to share information and exchange in various fields to revitalize mutual exchange and lay the foundation for win-win development between the Shinan and Mokpo areas.

On this day, in addition to the sisterhood agreement, they pledged to take the lead in practicing hometown love by mutually donating 1 million won as hometown love donations.
In particular, Haewi-myeon is the birthplace of President Kim Dae-jung, and Manho-dong has the Boy Kim Dae-jung Study Room and the Kim Dae-jung Nobel Peace Prize Memorial Hall, so Haewi-myeon and Manho-dong agreed to actively cooperate in various exchange projects, including mutual participation in events related to President Kim Dae-jung.
Jo Young-il, head of Haewi-myeon, stated, “We will seek the development of both regions through continuous mutual exchange, and based on today’s agreement ceremony, we will actively provide administrative support so that practical exchanges beneficial to each other can continue.”
