Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 13th that it will launch the 'Shinhan Top Picks Lab' service, combining the capabilities of its Research Center and Lab Management Department.
Shinhan Top Picks Lab is a wrap service that invests in domestic stocks. The Shinhan Investment Corp. Research Center derives a model portfolio, based on which the Lab Management Department constructs an optimal portfolio and performs rebalancing. This service selects about 25 domestic stock model portfolio stocks disclosed by the Shinhan Investment Corp. Research Center and holds each stock in equal weight.
The minimum subscription amount for Shinhan Top Picks Lab is 30 million KRW or more, and subscriptions are available through Shinhan Investment Corp. branches and mobile. The fee is charged annually in arrears at 1.8% (standard type).
Son Eun-joo, head of the Lab Management Department at Shinhan Investment Corp., said, "Following the G2 Lab, which has been operated since March last year based on the Research Center’s global portfolio, we aim to expand Shinhan Investment Corp.’s excellent analytical capabilities to the domestic stock market through Shinhan Top Picks Lab to assist investors." He added, "We will continue to provide Shinhan Investment Corp.’s unique wrap services through research reports with the industry’s best analytical know-how and strive to broaden investors’ choices."
This wrap service is an investment discretionary contract managed and operated per customer account, and investors have the right to receive sufficient explanations about the product from Shinhan Investment Corp. Loss of principal (0-100%) may occur due to asset price and exchange rate fluctuations, and such losses are borne by the investor.
