Burger King announced on the 13th the launch of the 'Smoky Barbecue Whopper,' featuring a rich and authentic American-style smoky barbecue flavor.
The new product combines a 100% pure beef patty grilled over direct flame for a smoky taste with smoky barbecue slowly cooked in a smokehouse to infuse a rich smoky aroma. Especially, a special sauce made with a tomato sauce base and various herbs adds sweetness and a clean finish. Like the smoky barbecue that tastes better when cooked slowly, the 'Black Whopper Bun,' which has a longer fermentation time than regular buns, is used to offer a softer and chewier texture. It is also available as the 'Smoky Barbecue X,' featuring a thicker patty for an even more satisfying experience.
On the 14th, Burger King will hold a live broadcast on 11st's 'LIVE11' with Kim Min-su from the YouTube channel 'Pisik University.' During the live broadcast, viewers can purchase the two new products as well as Burger King's steady sellers such as the 'Whopper Junior' and 'Long Chicken Burger' at discounted prices. Additionally, a time deal will be held where a limited quantity of 'Sunday Vanilla' can be purchased at a special price. An event will also take place where 50 participants who provide purchase verification during the live broadcast will be entered into a drawing to win prizes including a Coca-Cola 20-inch carrier and tumblers.
The consumer participation event 'Burger King! Show Me The Tray!' will also run for two weeks until the 26th of this month. Participants can join by posting photos of the new menu along with the grill image from the tray mat provided at stores or the grill image posted on Burger King's Instagram, using the required hashtags on social media. Burger King will hold a drawing to give away mini grills, Burger King gift certificates, and other prizes to about 20 winners.
