Hyundai New Avante Launch... Price Increase Up to 1.79 Million KRW

Hyundai Motor Company launched the new model of the compact sedan Avante on the 13th. This is a facelift model introduced three years after the launch in April 2020.

The design has been refined, and convenience and safety features have been added. The irregular design (Parametric Dynamics), which is considered a distinctive design feature, has been further emphasized. Three new exterior colors, including Meta Blue Pearl, have been added, allowing customers to choose from a total of nine colors. Inside, three new eco-friendly material colors have been added.

While using a high-strength lightweight body, it is the first in its class to apply eight airbags as standard, including rear seat side airbags. Various driving convenience devices such as forward collision-avoidance assist have been added. Digital Key 2 Touch has been applied, enabling smartphone vehicle control with an iPhone. Previously, this function was only available on Android operating systems.

It is the first in its class to include a built-in cam. Features preferred by customers, such as after blow that dries the air conditioner interior after the engine is turned off and wireless smartphone charging, have also been included.

The price for the 1.6ℓ model is 19.6 million KRW for the Smart trim, 22.56 million KRW for the Modern trim, and 26.71 million KRW for the Inspiration trim, which is 940,000 to 1,560,000 KRW higher than the previous model. The LPI model ranges from 20.99 million to 27.97 million KRW, also increased by up to 1,560,000 KRW. The hybrid model starts from 25.78 million KRW to 32.03 million KRW, up 1,240,000 to 1,790,000 KRW.

This is the price before tax benefits for the hybrid model, based on an individual consumption tax rate of 3.5%. The final selling price will be announced after the government notification. Hyundai Motor Company will hold an SNS event mainly targeting customers in their 20s until the end of this month.
