Ostem Implant Participates in the World's Largest Dental Expo Celebrating Its 100th Anniversary

'IDS 2023' Opens on 14th in Cologne, Germany

Osstem Implant announced on the 13th that it will set up an exhibition booth at IDS (International Dental Show), the world's largest dental exhibition. Opening on the 14th and running for five days, 'IDS 2023' will review the current state of the rapidly evolving dental care environment toward digitalization.

IDS, which began in Berlin in 1923, is a representative dental exhibition held biennially. IDS 2023 marks its 100th anniversary this year and will be held on the largest scale ever. According to Koelnmesse, the organizer of IDS, more than 2,000 companies from 66 countries including Germany, Italy, Korea, France, and Japan will participate this year. Korean companies will participate with about 100 companies in the Korea Pavilion. In addition, nearly 100 companies will set up individual booths. In terms of participation scale, Korea ranks third after the host country Germany and neighboring Italy.

Osstem Implant has set up an exhibition booth in Hall 1 of the Koelnmesse International Exhibition Center. Osstem Implant plans to showcase products across all dental equipment fields, including implants, devices, materials, and pharmaceuticals. Specifically, it will exhibit core implant lines such as 'SOI,' which is coated with an energy-protective material to enhance blood clot formation ability, and 'BA,' which is ultra-thin coated with bone formation promoters, and provide hands-on practice opportunities.

They also focused on the digital dentistry field, where they concentrate their research and development (R&D) capabilities. Leading with the implant surgery guide 'OneGuide,' they will present key digital equipment such as the 3D printer 'OneJet LCD,' which boasts top-class speed and precision, and the imaging diagnostic device 'T2,' which offers various FoVs and clear image quality. Osstem Implant's U.S. branch will separately organize a Hiossen brand zone to introduce major implant products and kits and continue hands-on practice sessions.

An Osstem Implant official said, "We will widely promote the status of Osstem Implant, which has grown into a global dental company, through IDS 2023, held on the historic 100th anniversary with the largest scale ever." He added, "We will focus on promoting differentiated products in the implant and digital fields, which are of high interest in the European market, and actively operate hands-on practice, experience, and participation promotions to enhance customer intimacy."
