Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends Opening Ceremony of 'Ddiriddiri Computer World'

On the 12th at 2 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of the 'Ddiriddiri Computer World' at the Nowon Mathematics Culture Center.

'Ddiriddiri Computer World' is an experiential exhibition themed around computers and coding, planned by Seoul Imagine Nation. It is available from March 12, 2023, to February 19, 2024, on the 2nd floor exhibition experience hall of the Nowon Mathematics Culture Center.

The exhibition allows visitors to enter inside a computer to understand how it operates and learn the basic concepts of coding such as binary system, commands, sequence, conditions, and flowcharts through play. It consists of a total of 8 experiential exhibits and 1 photo zone.

The event was held with the attendance of distinguished guests including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, members of the National Assembly, city councilors, and district councilors. The program proceeded with a congratulatory performance, introduction of guests, greetings, and a facility tour.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I am pleased that children in the community can learn digital basic literacy through play close to home via this experiential exhibition,” and added, “We will continue to strive to provide many opportunities by attracting various experiential exhibitions in the future.”
