Korea-US Agency Certification... Removal Certification for 102 Harmful Substance Items
New Application of 1500ℓ Effective Water Volume Filter... Reduced Burden for Single-Person Households
SmartThings-Linked Customized Options... Water Output Volume and Temperature Control
Samsung Electronics announced on the 12th that it will launch a new Bespoke water purifier for single-person households and small households on the 13th.
The Bespoke water purifier features a 4-stage filter system that removes foreign substances from tap water. It automatically sterilizes the internal pipes every three days, eliminating 99.9% of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
The product applies a built-in design that installs the purification module under the sink, creating a faucet (water outlet). This simplifies the product to create a cleaner kitchen interior.
When not in use, it is equipped with a 'Smart Clean Care' function that automatically drains stagnant water every 4 hours. There is no need for regular engineer visits for maintenance.

The new product limits the maximum effective purified water volume of the filter to 1500ℓ, an amount that single-person households can use without burden. The filter is replaced when the effective purified water volume is fully used based on actual water output history. This prevents unnecessary filter replacement when there is remaining effective purified water volume or continued use beyond the limit.
It has received certification for removing 102 harmful substances from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-certified testing organization NSF, the Korea Environmental Water Research Institute, and the professional testing agency Norzen. Not only the filter but also all parts in contact with water, such as internal pipes and faucets, have been certified by NSF as safe from over 1,000 harmful substances.
Various management functions are linked with Samsung's smart home platform SmartThings application. The product allows water output adjustment in 10ml increments. Users can preset up to 5 levels via mobile devices. This is a useful feature for consumers who repeatedly dispense various amounts of water for formula, ramen, and more.
The product offers water output temperature in 3 levels. Using the SmartThings app, users can select up to 11 levels in 5-degree increments starting from 40 degrees Celsius.
Through the SmartThings cooking service 'ScanCook' feature, water can be sent to the purifier in the required amount. The ScanCook function allows users to scan barcodes of convenience foods to check cooking instructions. The Smart Clean Care automatic sterilization system can be activated immediately whenever the consumer desires.
The new product will be released in three colors: Mellow Beige, Off White, and Off Black. The retail price ranges from 690,000 to 1,090,000 KRW, depending on the module configuration.
Lee Jun-hwa, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Home Appliance Business Division, said, "The new product maintains powerful purification and hygiene management systems and adds customized options so that consumers can enjoy clean water. We will continue to strive from planning to research and development to apply the functions that consumers want in our products."
