Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 12th that it will launch a table setting service called ‘Sojung-han Siksa’ for birthday tables, ancestral rites tables, and more.
The Sojung-han Siksa table setting reservation service is available on SSG.com Shinsegae Department Store Mall. The single-person birthday table set includes essential birthday dishes such as seaweed soup, bulgogi, chicken salad, and three types of jeon (Korean pancakes). The premium birthday table set, designed for 3 to 4 people, offers generous portions and includes seaweed soup, one don galbijjim (braised short ribs), barley dried yellow corvina, and a set of five premium jeon varieties.
A convenient ancestral rites table setting is also prepared. It consists of representative holiday dishes such as beef and shrimp skewer jeon, pollack jeon, garlic tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), and steamed flatfish, which can be easily heated and transferred to serving dishes. Both birthday and ancestral rites table settings must be reserved at least two days in advance to receive freshly prepared food delivered on the day of cooking.
