A fire broke out at a ship repair parts wholesale factory in Jeongnyang-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongnam, at 0:11 a.m. on the 11th.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, a nearby resident saw the fire and reported it to 119, and 25 firefighting vehicles and 67 firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
Because the factory was filled with flammable materials such as rubber products, extinguishing the fire was somewhat difficult, and the fire was completely put out around 5:31 a.m.
There were no casualties, but about half of one factory building was burned, and ship repair facilities, hardware, metal fasteners, and hand tools were destroyed.
The fire and police authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
