Provides customized information needed by age group divided into a total of 7 categories along with living information
Available at over 50 locations including community service centers, welfare centers, public health centers, and district office civil service desks; also accessible on the district website and SNS
Seocho-gu (District Mayor Jeon Seong-su) has distributed the booklet ‘Seocho User Guide,’ which allows residents, including new arrivals, to easily find useful living information at a glance.
The district created the ‘Seocho User Guide’ reflecting residents’ requests to conveniently check various living information and policies integrated in one place. In particular, the content was organized to serve as a resident life guidebook to help new residents who have just moved to Seocho adapt smoothly.
The ‘Seocho User Guide’ is divided into a total of 7 categories: ▲Living Information ▲Everyone (information on facilities available to all residents), and by age group ▲Infants and Toddlers ▲Children ▲Adolescents ▲Youth ▲Seniors, produced in a 72-page volume. It provides basic information such as the main roles, locations, and operating programs of customized facilities by life cycle, along with related policies, making it easy to find the information needed for ‘me.’
First, in the ‘Infants and Toddlers’ section, operational information of Seocho Maternal and Child Health Center, Seocho-gu Childcare Support Center and Toy Library, and Seoripul Nori School can be checked at a glance. It also details the support targets, contents, and periods of various childcare support policies for infants and toddlers such as Seocho Childcare Helpers and Grandchild Care Helpers to ensure no support is missed.
In the ‘Youth’ section, information helpful for employment is included, such as the ‘Seocho AI College,’ a digital talent training program for youth aged 19 to 39, and the ‘Youth Employment Fair,’ which provides various employment information and opportunities for on-site recruitment.
Information for ‘Seniors’ includes the ‘Grandchild Care Helper Project,’ which provides seniors caring for grandchildren under 24 months with a monthly allowance of up to 300,000 KRW, ‘Regional Filial Piety Bus Operation Information,’ and operational information of the ‘Neutinamu Rest Area,’ where seniors can enjoy various leisure, cultural activities, and education. Additionally, information on the use of cultural, sports, and welfare facilities is provided to support residents’ diverse leisure activities and self-development.
The ‘Seocho User Guide’ is available at over 50 locations including community service centers, welfare centers, public health centers, and district office civil service desks, allowing anyone in need of the district’s living information to freely take a copy. For those who find it difficult to visit these places, it can be viewed on the Seocho District Office website and the district’s official SNS.
Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, “I hope this customized life guidebook, which kindly contains only the information residents really need, will help them live a healthy and happy life in Seocho.”
