South Korea suffers 4-13 blow to Japan... WBC 1st Round Elimination Threat

Korean baseball faced a crushing defeat against Japan in the World Baseball Classic (WBC), putting the team at risk of being eliminated in the first round for the third consecutive time.

On the afternoon of the 10th, the 2023 World Baseball Classic (WBC) Pool B first-round game between Korea and Japan was held at Tokyo Dome in Japan. Led by manager Lee Kang-chul, the Korean national baseball team suffered a dramatic 4-13 loss to Japan in the 2023 WBC first-round Group B game held on the 10th at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

Korea now hopes to win both remaining games against the Czech Republic and China, while also relying on the miracle of the Czech Republic defeating Australia.
