The support targets households receiving basic living subsidies and those in the lower-income bracket.

Applications can be made by submitting receipts or other proof of purchase for kerosene or LPG bought between October last year and June this year to the local town or township office of the resident's registered address by April 7, 2023.

The county expects approximately 3,000 households to benefit from this heating cost support.

Existing energy voucher recipients will receive additional support ranging from 8,400 KRW to a maximum of 343,800 KRW depending on the number of household members, while non-recipients (basic living subsidy recipients and lower-income households) will receive 590,000 KRW.

For more details, inquiries can be made to the county office's S-Strategy Industry Office or the local town or township office of the resident's address.

A county official stated, "We hope this heating cost support will help alleviate the difficulties faced by vulnerable groups due to the sharp rise in energy prices, even if only a little."
