Naju City and Korea Rural Community Corporation Naju Branch Join the 'Hometown Love Donation Program'

Employees of the Korea Rural Community Corporation Naju Branch participated in the Hometown Love Donation Program.

Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Yoon Byung-tae) announced on the 10th that employees of the Korea Rural Community Corporation Naju Branch (Branch Manager Han Hwa-jin) donated 3 million won to the Hometown Love Donation Fund on the 9th.

This donation was made more meaningful as employees from the head office, who are also natives of Naju, participated along with the Korea Rural Community Corporation Naju Branch.

Branch Manager Han Hwa-jin said, “It is meaningful to participate in the donation relay for hometown development with colleagues I have worked with for a long time,” and added, “I hope this donation will help activate the Hometown Love Donation among not only fellow natives but also employees of other public institutions.”

Manager Han and the employees also requested active interest and cooperation during a meeting with Mayor Yoon to have Naju City selected as the site for the projects the corporation is promoting to establish a farming foundation for future young farmers, such as the ‘Reserved Farmland Lease-type Smart Farm’ and the ‘Agricultural Startup Complex Development’ projects.

Mayor Yoon Byung-tae said, “I appreciate the dedication of the employees of the Korea Rural Community Corporation who are passionate about the development of agriculture and rural areas, the backbone industries of Naju, and their participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program,” and added, “We will strive for mutual cooperation to ensure stable rural settlement and income generation for future young farmers.”
