Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Council Closes 278th Extraordinary Session... Processes 10 Items Including Ordinance Proposals

The Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chairman Kim Taewan) announced on the 10th that it has completed all the agenda of the 278th extraordinary session with the conclusion of the 2nd plenary session.

During the plenary session, a total of 10 agenda items, including ordinances and general matters, were reviewed and resolved.

The 2022 fiscal year settlement inspection committee members were also appointed. Councilor Park Miok was appointed as the representative member, and three external members were appointed: Certified Public Accountant Kang Daeseok, Tax Accountant Kim Jiwoon, and Tax Accountant Kim Sangwoo.

The committee members will hold an appointment ceremony on the 31st and conduct a detailed settlement inspection over 20 days until the 19th of next month, checking the appropriateness of the 2022 fiscal year financial execution and reviewing improvement plans.

Chairman Kim Taewan said, “I thank the council members and the executive branch who passionately participated in reviewing agenda items and field activities during the short session,” and added, “I hope that the matters proposed during this extraordinary session will be reflected in policies and current projects so that they can be carried out without any setbacks.”
