Participation in the CONEXPO in Las Vegas, USA
Exhibition of Products Applying Unmanned and Automation Solutions
HD Hyundai's construction equipment subsidiaries, Hyundai Construction Equipment and Hyundai Doosan Infracore, announced on the 10th that they will showcase 2,900km remote control technology at the world's top three construction equipment exhibitions, CONEXPO 2023.
The two companies will present remote control, unmanned and automation technologies, and eco-friendly equipment at CONEXPO 2023, held from the 14th to 18th (local time) in Las Vegas, USA. The exhibition space will be expanded by more than 50% compared to the previous show.
Hyundai Construction Equipment will exhibit 28 construction equipment models, including a 1.8t mini electric excavator and a 15t hydrogen wheel excavator. They plan to operate an experience zone where visitors can remotely operate a wheel loader stationed in Georgia, USA, approximately 2,900km away from the exhibition booth.

Hyundai Doosan Infracore will hold an unmanned operation demonstration event featuring the 'Concept X2' unmanned and automation solution. They will also exhibit a 1.7t mini electric excavator to be launched in the domestic market in the first half of the year. The Engine Business Division will separately set up an exhibition space for electrification solutions such as hydrogen fuel engines and EV (electric vehicle) battery packs.
An HD Hyundai official said, "CONEXPO is a great opportunity to observe the future technologies and market trends of global construction equipment," adding, "We aim to become a global top 5 company through eco-friendly technologies and unmanned and automation solutions."
CONEXPO is held once every three years. Along with Germany's Bauma and France's Intermat, it is considered one of the world's top three construction equipment exhibitions. This year, about 1,800 companies and 130,000 visitors worldwide are expected to participate.
