K2 Launches 'Flyhike Blast'... "Comfortable Steps with Top Cushioning"

Outdoor brand K2 announced on the 9th the launch of the hiking shoes ‘Flyhike Blast,’ which offer comfortable steps with innovative cushioning.

Flyhike Blast is the 2023 new model of K2’s flagship hiking shoe series, Flyhike. It features 3M reflective webbing tape that wraps around the entire foot to minimize foot movement, providing optimal cushioning and stability while walking. The midsole is upgraded with graphene foam, known as a dream material, and K2’s proprietary Flyfoam technology for enhanced cushioning. In particular, the midsole applies dual material properties that respond to different pressures in various areas, such as pushing and supporting forces during walking, delivering the best cushioning and stability.

The outsole, developed to suit granite which accounts for over 80% of Korea’s terrain, features an X-GRIP with a block pattern that increases the contact area by more than 200% compared to previous models, ensuring excellent traction. The shoe also uses Gore-Tex Invisible Fit bonding technology that fuses the inner and outer linings into one, making it lightweight while providing excellent breathability, waterproofing, and windproofing, keeping feet comfortable even after long wear. It is available in six colors: Off-White, White, Cream, Blue, Gray, and Black.

K2 also released a CF for Flyhike Blast featuring model Park Seo-joon. The CF can be viewed on K2’s official social media channels, Naver TV, and YouTube.
