Korea Toyota Signs Business Agreement with Bridgestone to Secure Stable Tire Supply Sources

Korea Toyota Motor Corporation and Bridgestone Tire Sales Korea announced on the 8th that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on tire supply at Korea Toyota Motor Corporation’s headquarters located in Jung-gu, Seoul.

This collaboration was established to meet the diverse needs of consumers by providing tires optimized for each model. Korea Toyota Motor Corporation will receive a stable supply of new car (OE) tires and replacement (RE) tires through Bridgestone Korea.

Bridgestone tires have been equipped as new car (OE) tires on Lexus’s best-selling model ES, mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) model NX, flagship sedan LS, compact SUV UX, as well as Toyota Camry Hybrid and other Lexus and Toyota models sold domestically. The two companies plan to continuously strengthen the tire lineup tailored to the characteristics of each Lexus and Toyota model through ongoing collaboration, including sports tires, comfort tires, and eco-friendly tires.

They plan to propose tires and tire management methods optimized for each model’s characteristics and customers’ lifestyles.

To commemorate this MOU, Korea Toyota Motor Corporation will offer special discounts on Bridgestone tires at official Lexus and Toyota dealer service centers nationwide until the 29th of this month: 20% off new car tires and 10% off replacement tires.

Kang Daehwan, Executive Director of Korea Toyota Motor Corporation, said, “This collaboration was undertaken to prioritize customer satisfaction by providing optimized tires that fit customers’ lifestyles. We will continue to strive to deliver happiness and impress customers through dignified service programs.”
