Attendance of Presidents from Major Affiliates Including Electronics and Chemicals on the 8th
Discussion on Enhancing Customer Value and Responding to Complex Crises
LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo convened the first executive meeting of the year on the 8th. It is reported that discussions were held on enhancing customer value and responding to complex crises during the meeting.
According to business circles on the 8th, the meeting chaired by Chairman Koo was attended by presidents of major affiliates such as LG Electronics, LG Chem, LG Display, and LG Innotek.
LG Group typically holds an executive meeting once every quarter.
On this day, rather than focusing on short-term business performance, it appears that opinions were exchanged on ways to enhance customer value, a keyword that Chairman Koo has continuously emphasized since his inauguration. Additionally, amid a prolonged global economic downturn and increasing external uncertainties, they reportedly brainstormed ways to find future growth engines and respond to complex crises.
At the executive meeting held at the end of last year, over 40 newly appointed CEOs from the year-end personnel reshuffle gathered to share macroeconomic forecasts for the coming year and review financial risks. The importance of future strategic investments and talent acquisition was also emphasized.
