Public Delivery App 'Daeguro', 3000 Won Discount When Purchased at Traditional Markets

Ongoing at 17 Locations Until the 31st

Daegu City is holding a coupon event from the 6th to the 31st of this month, offering a 3,000 KRW discount when purchasing products at traditional markets through the Daegu-type public delivery app ‘Daeguro’ to secure the competitiveness of traditional markets, increase sales, and enhance consumer convenience.

In response to the rapidly changing distribution environment, Daegu City has been expanding the online order and delivery platform through ‘Daeguro’ to traditional markets since last year.

This event to revitalize traditional markets provides an immediate 3,000 KRW discount benefit when ordering products online through Daeguro without having to visit the market in person. Up to 30,000 coupons will be issued daily until the 31st to actively promote the use of the traditional market online order and delivery platform to citizens.

As of March, ‘Daeguro’ features 292 stores located in 17 traditional markets offering various products. Including markets preparing to join, it is expected that more than 30 traditional markets will be participating by the end of this year.

The traditional markets eligible for the 3,000 KRW discount benefit are Hyeonpung Baeknyeon Dokkaebi Market, Wolbae Shin Market, Waryong Market, Dalseo Market, Seobu Market, Dongseo Market, Daemyeong/Daemyeong Shin Market, Dongdaegu/Dongdaegu Shin Market, Bongdeok/Bongdeok Shin Market, Bangcheon Market, Sinmae Market, Seonam/Seonam Shin Market, and Seongseo Yongsan Market, totaling 17 locations.

A Daegu City official stated, “To receive the 3,000 KRW discount, although there are slight differences depending on each store, most require purchasing products worth at least 10,000 KRW. Also, if you buy items by visiting the traditional market directly without ordering through the Daeguro app, it is difficult to receive the 3,000 KRW discount benefit.”
