Shinyoung Securities '1st Shinyoung Art Up' Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony

Shinyoung Securities announced on the 8th that it held the ‘Shinyoung Art Up Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony’ at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.


The event marked the conclusion of three scholarship programs?Shinyoung Culture Dream Up, Shinyoung Culture Challenge, and Shinyoung New Frontier?conducted over one year for students of Korea National University of Arts. Shinyoung Securities held the ceremony with about 20 attendees, including representatives from Korea National University of Arts, scholarship recipients, and awardees from each program.


Shinyoung Culture Dream Up, now in its 5th year, is a scholarship program that supports participation expenses for prestigious international competitions and festivals. Four students, including Han Jaemin, received scholarship certificates. Han Jaemin won first place at the ‘Yun Isang Competition,’ which he attended with support from Shinyoung Securities.


Shinyoung Culture Challenge, now in its 8th year, is a program that solicits original music compositions from students. A total of six teams were honored with awards. The grand prize winner, student Byeon Jimin’s piece ‘I Will Stand Here,’ is characterized by a calm yet bright and spirited melody. Shinyoung Securities plans to use it as a phone ringtone.


Shinyoung New Frontier, created for the first time this year, is a program supporting exhibitions by students in the visual arts field. Out of 20 teams that applied, seven teams were given exhibition opportunities. To support artists who are composing works with their own unique philosophies, Shinyoung Securities provides exhibition hall rental fees and production costs. The exhibition will be held in May in the form of a group exhibition.


A Shinyoung Securities official said, "By expanding the scholarship programs in partnership with Korea National University of Arts, more students have gained opportunities than before," adding, "We will continue to support the growth of K-Arts students in diverse and delicate ways."
