On Wednesday the 8th, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with occasional rain starting in the afternoon in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and the northern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon.
Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 10 mm in northern Gyeonggi, northern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and the West Sea 5 Islands, and less than 5 mm in Seoul, Incheon, and southern Gyeonggi.
As of 7 a.m. that day, temperatures in major areas are Seoul 7.4°C, Incheon 9.3°C, Suwon 5.2°C, Chuncheon 1.3°C, Gangneung 15.5°C, Cheongju 8.3°C, Daejeon 8.4°C, Jeonju 8.8°C, Gwangju 7.1°C, Jeju 9.9°C, Daegu 6.7°C, Busan 11.7°C, Ulsan 9.8°C, and Changwon 6.8°C.
The daytime high temperature is forecast to be between 14 and 24°C, with Seoul’s daytime high expected to be 17°C.
Fine dust concentration will be 'bad' in the Gyeonggi and Gangwon areas, and 'moderate' in other regions.
Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungbuk, Daegu, Ulsan, and Gyeongbuk are expected to have temporarily 'bad' levels in the morning.
In areas where rain is falling, visibility may be low and roads slippery, so caution is advised for traffic safety.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East and West Seas, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea.
