This year’s Butterfly Grand Festival features new programs such as the Eco-friendly Agriculture Hall, Butterfly Parade, and Ventriloquism Show, along with various experiential events that families and couples can enjoy together, including making leaf butterflies and insects, and outdoor butterfly flying.

Additionally, cultural and artistic events will be held in abundance, including feeding animals at the nature-friendly animal farm, catching mudfish, barley and pea threshing experiences, landscape exhibitions by emerging artists from Jeonnam, and the new - Bbaengpajeon Madanggeuk (traditional Korean outdoor play).

In particular, since the festival period includes holidays such as Children’s Day, it is expected to attract many tourists, so the festival will be operated with a focus on preparing measures for traffic and safety accidents.

A county official said, “We will do our best to prepare so that the Hampyeong Butterfly Grand Festival can be a festival where both residents and tourists can enjoy safely together.”
