Nexen announced on the 7th that it has established the Saintnine Junior Women's Golf Team.

Nexen selected nine promising female golf players through document screening and interviews, and held the junior golf team inauguration ceremony the day before at The Nexen University in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Kang Ho-chan, Vice Chairman of Nexen, attended the ceremony and expressed his interest in nurturing promising players by offering words of encouragement.
Nexen provides the selected junior players with Saintnine golf balls and equipment, and awards scholarships of up to 10 million KRW annually based on their tournament performance. Additionally, to improve their skills, the players are given opportunities to receive one-point lessons from renowned domestic professionals, and Nexen also supports premium Nexen tires for comfortable and safe transportation to tournaments.
Over 150 domestic promising players applied for this junior golf team recruitment. A Nexen official stated, "We will establish an operational system that can provide practical support through the team," and added, "We are also considering plans to sponsor male prospects and professional players in the future."
