Saemaeul Undong Uiryeong-gun Branch Donates Earthquake Relief Funds to Turkey

The Saemaul Undong Uiryeong-gun Branch in Gyeongnam recently visited the Uiryeong County Office to donate a special fund of 6.75 million won to help the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

This donation was raised on the 21st of last month by Lee Dong-gi, the head of the Saemaul Undong Uiryeong-gun Branch, along with Saemaul leaders from 13 towns and townships. It is the result of the Saemaul Undong's efforts, including collecting hidden resources from residents around the Uiryeongcheon riverside area.

The collected funds will be delivered to the earthquake victims in the Turkey and Syria regions, where numerous casualties occurred, through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
