Wemade Participates in 'GDC 2023'... Full Effort to Promote 'Wemix Play'

Wemade announced on the 6th that it will participate in the ‘Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023’ to promote its blockchain game platform, 'Wemix Play.'

Wemade has set up a dedicated booth to introduce ‘Wemix Play,’ a system equipped with blockchain game services such as token economy, GameFi, marketplace, and community features, under the theme ‘Life is Game: Blockchain Transformation.’ The company plans to actively conduct business meetings with various companies, including game companies and blockchain developers from around the world.

Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of Wemade, will deliver a keynote speech on the 21st titled ‘The Future of Games: Beyond Intergame Play.’ He will present how blockchain technology enables the implementation of Inter-game Economy and Inter-game Play, and what impact it will have on the future of gaming.

On the 22nd and 23rd, Wemix business representatives will give lectures on blockchain games in a total of three sessions, focusing on Wemix Play. Topics include ▲ data accumulated and success and failure cases of token economy from launching Web3 games ▲ how existing games transform into blockchain games and the benefits through Wemix Play ▲ know-how of blockchain game services.

Myrtle Sarosado, a global creator who issued Wemix Play’s first fan token ‘Myrtle,’ will also appear as a speaker. She will share insights on the token economy system created and grown together by creators and fans.

Meanwhile, GDC 2023 will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA, from the 20th to the 24th. Wemade will participate as a top-tier Diamond Sponsor alongside Amazon Web Services, Epic Games, Google, Meta, and others.
