‘Haneun Geumyo Lecture’ Resumes After 4 Years … Bank of Korea Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters

The Daegu·Gyeongbuk Headquarters of the Bank of Korea (Head: Kwon Tae-yong) has resumed the 'BOK Friday Lectures,' which had been suspended since the second half of 2019, after four years to enhance the financial and economic understanding of local university students and the general public.


The BOK Friday Lectures focus mainly on recent economic and financial issues or major tasks of the Bank of Korea.

The lectures will be held three times from March to May at the Daegu·Gyeongbuk Headquarters of the Bank of Korea, with another three sessions planned for the second half of this year (September to November).


The first lecture will take place on the 24th, with writer Ban Byung-hyun delivering a talk on "The Principles and Ripple Effects of ChatGPT and Prospects for the Industry."


Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for each lecture, and those who attend five or more sessions combined in the first and second halves of the year will be awarded a certificate of completion along with a commemorative gift. The certificate of completion is an official document issued by the Daegu·Gyeongbuk Headquarters of the Bank of Korea and can be used when writing self-introduction letters or for other purposes if needed.
