Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to Implement Expedited Veterans Review System
From now on, soldiers, police officers, firefighters, and others injured in the line of duty will be eligible for veterans' benefits immediately upon retirement.
On the 6th, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs announced that it plans to implement an expedited veterans' review system that allows applicants to apply for national merit registration before retirement and receive veterans' benefits simultaneously with retirement.
Previously, applications for national merit registration could only be submitted after discharge, resulting in a registration period of over eight months. However, according to the Ministry, using the expedited veterans' review system will complete the review within two months.
Additionally, with the introduction of the "National Veterans Disability Certificate" in July this year, separate physical examinations can be omitted, shortening the period from application to registration to within 100 days. Applicants can receive the National Veterans Disability Certificate at a nearby tertiary hospital, military hospital, or police hospital, and obtain a disability grade determination without a separate physical examination.
To apply for expedited veterans' review, applicants must submit the necessary documents for the veterans' review, such as medical records, imaging data, and health insurance treatment details, to the veterans' office.
