The 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center is recruiting participants for the 'April Memories Blooming as Flowers' program to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster this year.


The Democratic Citizenship Education Center announced that from the 6th to the 19th of this month, it will operate the 'April Memories Blooming as Flowers' program, which includes experiential activities such as visiting the Danwon High School 4·16 Memory Classroom, cleanup activities, making paper flowers, and flower offerings.


The program is open to students, parents, and citizens alike. Applications can be submitted online (https://naver.me/GjGpIXnk) starting from the 6th.


Jeon Myeong-seon, director of the 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center, explained, "To mark the 9th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster this year, we have organized this program to provide students, parents, and citizens with an opportunity to remember the tragedy and speak of hope beyond the pain."
