Former President Donald Trump fiercely criticized the Joe Biden administration at the annual event of the largest right-wing group in the United States, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
On the 4th (local time), Trump appeared as a speaker on the final day of CPAC, hosted by the American Conservative Union (ACU), held at the Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, near Washington DC.
Major U.S. media outlets detailed Trump’s remarks that day through articles and videos, evaluating that he dominated the atmosphere at CPAC.
Standing at the podium, Trump said, "This is the most dangerous time in our country’s (United States) history, and Joe Biden is leading us down the path to national ruin," raising his voice to declare, "We will remove Joe Biden from the White House." He emphasized, "We will never return to a party that demands cuts to benefits for veterans and retirees at home while waging endless wars abroad."
Trump warned of the risk of a Third World War, saying that if swift action is not taken, it will actually happen. He claimed, "To prevent World War III, I must be elected president again." He also said, "Before I even enter the Oval Office, I will end the war between Russia and Ukraine," adding, "I know what to say."
He called the 2024 presidential election the "final battle," warning that if he does not win the 2024 election, the America as we know it will disappear. Trump stated, "We will crush the 'Deep State,'" identifying the targets to be expelled as "warmongers," "globalists," "communists," "the political class that hates our country," and the "fake news media."
The audience chanted Trump’s name in response to his hardline remarks, shouting slogans such as "USA! USA! USA!" and "Four more years!"
