Lee Hyun-seung, CEO of KB Asset Management, and Jung Il-moon, CEO of Korea Investment & Securities, have been appointed as non-standing vice-chairmen of the Korea Financial Investment Association.
According to the Korea Financial Investment Association on the 3rd, these appointments, along with those of public interest directors and self-regulatory committee members, were made at the regular general meeting held that day.
The public interest directors are Kim Chang-bong, Professor of Business Administration at Chung-Ang University; Park Soon-chul, Lawyer at Park Soon-chul Law Office; Bae Sun-young, Adjunct Professor at Yonsei University Graduate School of Economics; Seo Tae-jong, President of Korea Financial Investment Institute; and Ahn Dong-hyun, Professor of Economics at Seoul National University, totaling five members.
The self-regulatory committee members appointed are Yoon Kyung-ho, Non-standing Editorial Writer at MBN; Kim Woo-jin, Professor of Business Administration at Seoul National University; Jang Il-hyuk, Lawyer at LKB & Partners; Oh Ik-geun, CEO of Daishin Securities; and Hong Won-sik, CEO of Hi Investment & Securities.
Their terms will run for two years from the 4th until March 3, 2025.
