Ourhome Food Empire Launches 4 New Spring Vegetable Dishes

The food hall brand 'Ourhome Food Empire' announced on the 3rd that it has launched four new menu items featuring spring greens.


The new menu items are characterized by the use of green spring vegetables such as shepherd's purse, garlic chives, chamnamul, stonecrop, bamboo shoots, and water parsley. The four dishes include Spring Greens Beef Brisket Doenjang Stew, Spring Greens Soft Tofu Bibimbap, Spring-Inspired Yusanseul Rice Bowl, and Spring Water Parsley Spicy Stir-fried Squid Set. Spring greens are known to be rich in various nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, potassium, and fiber, which help stimulate the appetite and boost immunity.

The Spring Greens Beef Brisket Doenjang Stew is made by boiling a broth base with clams and beef brisket, then adding plenty of shepherd's purse and garlic chives for a spicy flavor. The Spring Greens Soft Tofu Bibimbap is a simple meal where freshly cooked rice is topped with chamnamul, stonecrop, and garlic chives, mixed together with soft tofu, salted lettuce stems (gungchae), red onions, and soy sauce. The Spring-Inspired Yusanseul Rice Bowl features bamboo shoots and garlic chives cut into bite-sized pieces, stir-fried with various ingredients such as sea cucumber strips and pork. The Spring Water Parsley Spicy Stir-fried Squid Set is a dish where spicy stir-fried squid is served with fresh water parsley and is best enjoyed with leafy vegetables for wrapping.
