Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) is offering an online special lecture titled "Wise Workplace Etiquette" to help young professionals adapt to their work life, recruiting 30 participants until the 14th.

Mapo-gu has a youth population (ages 19-39) ratio of 35% (127,633 out of 368,331), which is higher than the Seoul average of 30%. (Based on January 2023 Ministry of the Interior and Safety Resident Registration Population Statistics)

To support youth employment and entrepreneurship, this time a free employment lecture for MZ generation new employees has been prepared. The course is operated by Mapo Youth Naru (Metropolitan Job Cafe).

The three-day lecture from the 21st to the 23rd covers ▲business manners ▲report writing methods ▲efficient work time management. The instructor is Lee Young-ha, CEO of Incruit, an online recruitment portal service company, and the classes will be conducted live online via ZOOM.

On the first day, participants will learn "business manners" through 10 common mistakes made by new employees. Additionally, they will learn basic business etiquette such as greetings appropriate to TPO (time, place, occasion), telephone etiquette, business cards, handshakes, and proper email writing.

The second day focuses on report writing techniques that enhance readability, work and reporting etiquette, while the final day covers strategies for managing work priorities suited to oneself, various work skills, and stress management methods to teach efficient work time management.

Anyone aged 19 to 39 can apply, and applications are accepted through the Mapo Youth Naru website (program application) until the 14th. The 30 selected participants will be contacted individually by the 15th.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, stated, "Since our district has a high proportion of youth, we are intensively promoting policies for young people at the district level," adding, "In addition to support policies through Mapo Youth Naru, we promise to continue efforts on policies for youth welfare, such as establishing a youth entrepreneurship support center."
