Increase in Customers Seeking Big-Size Products Amid High Inflation
Providing Fun and Benefits with Size-Up Event

Emart24 announced on the 2nd that it will hold an event offering two best-selling triangular kimbap varieties (Tuna Mayo Triangular Kimbap, Jeonju Bibim Triangular Kimbap) in big sizes until the 31st of this month, coinciding with the back-to-school season.
Customers can scan the integrated barcode on the Emart24 mobile application (app) and pay an additional 100 won to purchase the big size products. By adding 100 won to the price of Tuna Mayo Triangular Kimbap or Jeonju Bibim Triangular Kimbap, customers can buy the big size triangular kimbap (size-up available once per product).
Emart24 explained that following the strong customer response to last month's event offering two small-sized cup noodles (Samyang Buldak Bokkeum Myun, Samyang Ramen) in larger cups using the same method, they planned this month's triangular kimbap size-up event. During the cup noodle size-up event period, sales of the two event products increased by 26% compared to the same period last year.
Recently, there has been a growing demand for food products with increased portions due to rising prices. Emart24's big size triangular kimbap sales last year increased by 102% compared to the previous year, showing a higher growth rate than regular triangular kimbap (35%).
