On Friday the 3rd, daytime temperatures will rise by 3 to 7 degrees compared to the 2nd, bringing a clear sense of spring.
The morning low temperatures on the 3rd will range from minus 7 degrees to 4 degrees Celsius, similar to the 2nd.

With a southwesterly wind blowing, the daytime high temperatures on the 3rd will be between 9 and 17 degrees Celsius, 3 to 7 degrees higher than on the 2nd.
Temperature differences between day and night will be significant, especially inland. As temperatures rise, the ground that was frozen throughout winter may thaw and weaken, so precautions should be taken to prevent collapse accidents and other incidents.
Expected low and high temperatures in major cities are Seoul at minus 1 and 11 degrees Celsius, Incheon at 1 and 9 degrees, Daejeon at minus 3 and 13 degrees, Gwangju at minus 2 and 14 degrees, Daegu at minus 2 and 16 degrees, Ulsan at 0 and 14 degrees, and Busan at 2 and 13 degrees Celsius.
Dryness warnings, including dry weather alerts, have been issued in various areas centered on Gangwon Yeongdong and Yeongnam, such as Gangneung Plain, Donghae Plain, Samcheok Plain, Sokcho Plain, Goseong Plain, Yangyang Plain in Gangwon, and Pohang in Gyeongbuk.
Dryness advisories for Seoul and Gyeonggi’s Gapyeong, Seongnam, and Guri have been in effect since the 20th of last month and have not been lifted for 11 days, maintaining dry conditions.
On the 3rd, strong winds with gusts around 90 km/h (25 m/s) are expected in the Gangwon mountain areas, while other regions will experience winds with gusts around 55 km/h (15 m/s). In particular, the pressure pattern of high pressure in the south and low pressure in the north will cause strong westerly winds, making the eastern side of the Taebaek Mountains even drier. Westerly winds coming from the continent are inherently dry, and when crossing mountain ranges, the 'Foehn effect' can cause them to lose even more moisture.
Fine dust levels on the 3rd will be 'Good' or 'Moderate' nationwide, but temporarily 'Bad' at night in northern Gyeonggi and Gangwon Yeongseo.
