Term until March 1, 2025, for 2 years
Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) announced on the 2nd that it has appointed Kim Hyun-ki, former Director of Communications at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as the new Head of the Management Division. The term is two years, until March 1, 2025.
Director Kim graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Political Science and Diplomacy, earned a master's degree in Digital Media from the University of Sussex Graduate School in the UK, and obtained a doctorate in Media and Communication from Kookmin University.
Kim, who entered public service in 1993 as the 36th pass of the civil service exam, has served as Director of Planning and General Affairs at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, Overseas Cultural Promotion Planning Officer and Communication Policy Officer at the Overseas Cultural Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Director of Public Communication, and Secretary General of the National Academy of Arts of Korea.
