APL Golf Mobile App Subscribers Draw
Continued Operation Until Year-End
Comprehensive golf platform VC Soft announced on the 2nd that it will collaborate with Sagewood Country Club (CC) Hongcheon in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province, to offer a 'Green Fee Support' promotion for golf enthusiasts.
VC Soft is a subsidiary of Voice Caddie, a company specializing in golf rangefinders. This event, running until December, targets golfers who have signed up for Voice Caddie's real-time pin location information platform, the 'APL Golf' application, via mobile. Winners will be announced weekly through a draw on the APL Golf app, and they will receive green fee support worth approximately 370,000 KRW to enjoy a free round on weekends (Saturdays).
Users can download APL Golf on their mobile devices and receive their own caddie service. In the case of Sagewood CC Hongcheon, the company explained that if users apply for a no-caddie (self) round through the APL Golf app, they can experience the 'rangefinder in their hand.'
The green fee support promotion is one of the most popular events among weekend golfers. VC Soft expressed expectations that "many golfers will experience the convenience of measuring golf distances through the mobile app using APL technology at golf courses."
Meanwhile, Sagewood CC Hongcheon operates alongside a premium hotel and is considered a popular 1-night, 2-day course for weekend golfers. It is set against a backdrop of pristine nature and consists of 27 holes (Dream, Vision, Challenge). The total course length is 9,622 meters, featuring bentgrass courses.
