Porsche Korea announced on the 2nd that it will recruit 'Porsche Dream Up' scholarship students this year.
Porsche Korea is expanding the scale and program of support this year. Scholarships will be offered to talents in arts and sports, children aging out of care, and low-income job seekers in various fields.
As one of Porsche's 'Two Dreams' social contribution campaigns, 'Porsche Dream Up' has supported the dreams of diverse talented children. Over the past six years, it has sponsored 188 students. This year, marking the 75th anniversary of Porsche sports cars, the support fund has been increased by about 33% from the previous year to 280 million KRW, linked with the motto 'Driven by Dreams.' The number of beneficiaries will also increase, with a total of 75 scholarship students to be selected.
Applications for the 'Porsche Dream Up' scholarships can be submitted from today until the 15th through the regional offices of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation. Detailed information can be found at the Seoul Region 3 office. Scholarship recipients will be finally selected in March through document screening after the application deadline.

In particular, starting this year, the scope of support for 'Porsche Dream Up' has been expanded to assist children from low-income families in obtaining driver's licenses to enhance self-reliance and establish employment foundations. Twenty-two students preparing for employment under difficult circumstances will be selected and each will receive a scholarship of 900,000 KRW.
The existing 'Dream Up' program, which supports children talented in arts and sports such as music, physical education, and fine arts, as well as children aging out of care preparing for independence, will also be expanded. A total of 20 arts and sports talents will be selected, and 25 children aging out of care will be recruited to provide systematic support for skill improvement and preparation for independence. Each arts and sports talent will receive 6 million KRW, and each child aging out of care will receive 3.6 million KRW.
Additionally, special scholarship students will be selected among children who have achieved outstanding results through the 'Dream Up' program. This provides opportunities to pursue their dreams even after reaching adulthood. The number of special scholarship students will be doubled from last year to eight.
Holger Gehrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea, said, "On this special year marking the 75th anniversary of Porsche sports cars, we hope that the expanded program will serve as an opportunity for future generations to realize vibrant and diverse dreams."
