"Manage Your Air Conditioner Before It Gets Hot" LG Electronics, Pre-Inspection Service

LG Electronics will conduct pre-summer air conditioner inspection services.

On the 1st, LG Electronics announced that from May 8 to May 31, it will offer pre-inspection services for LG Whisen air conditioners.

Customers can apply for the pre-inspection by calling the LG Electronics service customer center. They can check their air conditioners through self-inspection and request a visit service if expert intervention is needed.

The self-inspection method is posted on the LG Electronics website under 'Customer Support.' It helps customers check the air conditioner’s power connection status, remote control battery, and ultra-fine filter cleaning status. Customers can also receive self-inspection guidance via text message by contacting the customer center.

The self-inspection method for home system air conditioners is also described on the website. It provides instructions on checking whether the outdoor unit room window is open or closed and how to check the circuit breaker.

LG Electronics plans to guide system air conditioner self-inspection methods through management offices, mainly in large apartment complexes. They aim to encourage pre-inspections to prevent customer inconvenience during the heatwave.

There is no charge for inspection fees, including engineer visit fees, during the pre-inspection process. Additional costs occur only if parts replacement or refrigerant injection is necessary. Engineers perform performance, safety, leakage, and ventilation checks and conduct test operations of the air conditioners.

For additional cleaning, it is convenient to use the paid service 'LG Best Care.' By utilizing LG Best Care’s 'Home Appliance Cleaning Service,' experts will disassemble, clean, and sterilize the air conditioner. They disassemble the air conditioner product and perform high-pressure washing of the heat exchanger, steam sterilization, and deodorization treatment.
