A man in his 20s was arrested by the police for spraying urine from a spray bottle onto a commercial building, citing dissatisfaction with society as the reason.
On the 28th, the Jongam Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested Mr. A at the scene around 8:30 a.m. on charges of property damage.
Mr. A is suspected of spraying an unidentified liquid with a spray bottle in various places inside a four-story commercial building located in Seokgwan-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. He sprayed the liquid mainly on places frequently touched by people, such as the glass doors of the building, the inside and outside buttons of the elevator, and vending machines. It is known that Mr. A also sprayed liquid in the same commercial building last weekend.
During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated that the liquid was urine. He revealed that he committed the act due to social dissatisfaction, including difficulties in finding employment.
The police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the crime further.
