Honda Thailand Winner Lilia Bu Surges to 12th Place
Lydia Ko (New Zealand) has maintained her position as the No. 1 female golfer in the world rankings for the 14th consecutive week.
On the weekly women's golf world rankings announced on the 21st, Lydia Ko held the top spot with a rating of 8.68 points. She has kept the No. 1 position for 13 consecutive weeks since first taking the lead on November 29 last year. The gap with No. 2 Nelly Korda (USA, 7.21 points) slightly narrowed from 1.51 points last week.
Besides them, there were no changes in the rankings of the top players such as No. 3 Minjee Lee (Australia), No. 4 Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand), and No. 5 Ko Jin-young (28). Among Korean players, Ko Jin-young, Jeon In-ji (29, 8th), and Kim Hyo-joo (28, 9th) maintained their positions within the top 10.
Lilia Vu (USA), who won the Honda LPGA Thailand on the LPGA Tour that ended on the 26th, jumped 21 places from 33rd last week to 12th.
