Best Value Family Park ... LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam 'Spotlight'

As winter ends and warm spring arrives, LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam is gaining attention as a great place for outings with family and friends.

Located on the border between Gangseo-gu, Busan and Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam is operated by the regional representative public enterprise, Korea Racing Authority.

The park features a spacious and pleasant environment where visitors can see horses, animals not easily seen in everyday life, up close and enjoy the unique sport of horse racing.

The park covers approximately 380,000 pyeong, equivalent to the size of 174 soccer fields, and from March onwards, it will be filled every week with various events and attractions.

First, every Sunday, the Maljukgeori Market offers a festive atmosphere. The event includes various zones such as a ‘Play Experience Zone’, ‘Flea Market Zone’, and ‘Food Zone’ with plenty of things to enjoy.

Additionally, there are ‘Play Zones’ featuring air bounces, mini trains, mini Vikings, and ‘Experience Zones’ where children can enjoy activities like fishing and making dalgona candy.

On the first Sunday of every month, visitors can participate in various events such as the ‘Bring Your Own Container Event’, where popcorn is filled into brought containers, and the ‘Kkaeali Mascot Photo Event’ featuring LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam’s mascot.

To the left of Derby Square is the large sledding hill ‘Sled Hill’, which is 90 meters long. Children can ride together with a guardian, and adults can use it alone.

It operates only on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the fee is 2,000 won.

To the right of Derby Land is the ‘Pony Riding Ground’ for children’s horseback riding experiences. It is popular as visitors can experience horseback riding at an affordable price in the city and capture memories with photos. The operating hours and fees are the same as Sled Hill.

In addition, there are jumping play equipment like the bouncing dome, a children’s playground where kids can move energetically and sweat, and a mini soccer field.

LetsRun Tour Bus, which shows the daily life of horses, is also operated. On the tour bus, visitors can listen to a guide’s explanations while touring various parts of the horse racing park such as the animal hospital, horse swimming pool, and riding stables.

The tour, which takes about 50 minutes per session, runs four times a day on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each session accommodates up to 20 people on a first-come, first-served basis, and the fee is 2,000 won.
