About 10 representatives from both sides, including Kim Eui-hyun, CEO of Saida Economy, and An Yoo-hwa, President of the University of Irvine, attended the event.
Through this MOU, Saida Economy and the University of Irvine will jointly design, plan, and operate the Irvine University MBA program and the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (GCBA) course.
Once the University of Irvine officially launches the MBA and GCBA programs, Saida Economy will recruit students by leveraging its high student satisfaction and various know-how accumulated through operating online and offline classes. Students who complete the courses will receive certificates directly issued by the University of Irvine.
The MBA program will focus on cultivating practical business skills by integrating business theory with real-world application cases. In particular, it aims to provide a customized program that enables students to become creative and strategic managers leading the current era by expanding the necessary knowledge and competencies for organizational management. The program will be operated on a 36-credit semester system and can be completed within two years.
Lectures can be taken in a 100% offline face-to-face format, 100% online learning, or a hybrid method utilizing both, allowing students to choose their preferred mode. Especially for domestic students, the online learning will encourage active participation through assignment submissions and feedback, discussion boards, and attendance in chat sessions.
Kim Eui-hyun, CEO of Saida Economy, said, "We expect great synergy as the expertise and teaching skills of the University of Irvine faculty, whose professionalism has been verified, are added to Saida Economy’s educational curriculum know-how recognized by numerous students."
