Unveiling NCSoft's New Release... Aiming Globally NCSoft 'Throne and Liberty' Key Visual

NCSoft will release four new titles this year, including the highly anticipated game 'Throne and Liberty' (hereinafter TL). The company is accelerating its expansion into overseas markets based on a variety of new genres.

Starting with TL in the first half of this year, NCSoft plans to launch a series of new titles. TL is a PC and console-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) known for its immersive gameplay. TL recently completed its final testing phase with general users and media professionals.

TL will enter overseas markets in partnership with Amazon Games. It will be introduced in North America, South America, Europe, Japan, and other regions. According to NCSoft, Amazon Games is an optimal platform with strong capabilities in localization, operations, and marketing overseas.

NCSoft plans to steadily increase its overseas market share centered around TL. Last year, 'Lineage W' and 'Guild Wars 2' led the company's overseas sales performance. In 2022, NCSoft's overseas and royalty revenues increased by 29% compared to the previous year, achieving record results. This accounted for 37% of the total revenue last year.

New mobile titles will also be released. The four mobile games scheduled for release this year?▲PUZZUP:AMITOI ▲Battle Crush ▲BSS ▲Project G?are not MMORPGs, which are NCSoft's main genre.

'PUZZUP:AMITOI' is a 3-match casual puzzle game developed targeting the global puzzle game market. It features the popular 3-match mechanic of matching three or more blocks to solve puzzles, with a unique 'directional key' element that allows players to change the direction of the blocks, adding differentiation and fun.

'Battle Crush' is NCSoft's first foray into the brawler-style action genre. The new intellectual property (IP) Battle Crush is a game where 30 players fight to be the last one standing. It can be enjoyed on mobile devices and the PC game distribution platform Steam. Additionally, it is the first NCSoft game to be playable on the Nintendo Switch.

Hong Won-jun, NCSoft's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), stated, "We are smoothly preparing the four non-MMO mobile games scheduled for release this year," adding, "We aim to present differentiated gameplay by appropriately integrating NCSoft's MMO development know-how."
