Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 27th that it held the '2023 Nationwide Family Meeting' for win-win management and mutual growth with its families (franchise owners) in eight cities nationwide, starting in Seoul on the 2nd and ending in Jeju Island on the 24th.

Genesis BBQ Group has been holding family meetings for 28 years since 1996 to promote communication and transparent management. This meeting, the largest event in the franchise industry, was held 11 times, divided by region including three times in Seoul, with BBQ’s nationwide families participating.

Each region had 300 to 400 participants, with a total of 2,200 families participating. Including spouses, the total number of attendees reached approximately 4,400.

The meeting was organized to express gratitude to the families who have worked together on-site to find breakthroughs despite the difficult business environment caused by the global economic downturn and high interest rates, aiming to become a national brand.

Yoon Hong-geun, Chairman of BBQ, said in his greeting, “Family members are our partners, comrades, co-owners, and protagonists as our group aims to be the world’s best by 2030. Because you are the main characters, we prepared this event with the utmost sincerity. If there are any difficulties or questions you have felt on-site, or issues you found hard to solve alone and felt ‘I am the only one struggling,’ please feel free to discuss and communicate so that we can reflect on them,” he said.
