Mr. A is suspected of strangling Mr. B, a man in his 40s who lived next door in the same one-room motel building in Jangangu, Suwon City, around 10 p.m. on the 24th.

Immediately after the crime, Mr. A disposed of Mr. B’s body in his own bathroom, then visited a nearby police box at around 7:45 p.m. on the 25th and surrendered, saying, "I killed someone last night."

According to the police investigation, Mr. A, who was unemployed, had been in conflict with Mr. B over noise issues between the walls. Mr. A told the police, “I met Mr. B, with whom I usually had a bad relationship, in the hallway of the one-room motel, and during an argument, I got angry and dragged him into my home and committed the crime.”

There were also signs of an attempt to cover up the crime. The police confirmed that after the crime, Mr. A disposed of the body in the bathroom and tried to delete CCTV footage installed at the crime scene from the management office within the one-room motel.
