From March 2, a 7-day schedule including on-site visits by standing committees and appointment of settlement inspection committee members will be conducted.
The Seocho District Council (Chairman Oh Se-cheol) held the 1st plenary session on the 24th to open the 324th extraordinary session. During this extraordinary session, there will be on-site visits by standing committees, appointment of settlement inspection committee members for the 2022 fiscal year, and review of ordinance proposals and other agenda items.
At the plenary session, starting with the opening remarks by Chairman Oh Se-cheol, there were 5-minute free speeches by council members Lee Hyun-sook, Kim Seong-ju, and Ahn Jong-sook, followed by the review of four consent proposals for private consignment.
The approved agenda items included ▲Consent for private consignment of management and operation of the provisional Seocho District Yangjae Station Area Youth Housing Daycare Center ▲Consent for private consignment of management and operation of the provisional Seocho District One Bailey-1 Daycare Center ▲Consent for private consignment of management and operation of the provisional Seocho District One Bailey-2 Daycare Center ▲Consent for private consignment of management and operation of the provisional Seocho District Raemian One Pentas Daycare Center.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Oh Se-cheol expressed condolences on the tragic situation in Turkey and Syria, and stated, “As the importance of seismic design is increasingly recognized in our country, a comprehensive survey of seismic design should be conducted to thoroughly inspect the status of buildings in Seocho District. Any deficient buildings should be supplemented, and management and supervision must be strengthened.” He added, “The Seocho District Council, existing for the residents, will do its utmost to protect the lives and property of the residents with a preparedness mindset.”
The Seocho District Council will begin with general agenda items on the 24th, proceed with on-site visits by standing committees and review of ordinance proposals from the 27th to the 28th, and is scheduled to adjourn on March 2.
